            I'm a university student from Germany, aspiring to
            become a *nix system engineer/administrator. I like tinkering around
            in the Linux space and write a little program here and there.

        <b>Linux tinkering</b>
        <p>
        I run <a href="https://chimera-linux.org/">Chimera Linux</a> on my PCs, <a href="https://nura.eco/">Nura</a> on my <a href="https://wiki.nura.eco/wiki/PINE64_PinePhone_(pine64-pinephone)">PinePhone</a> and <a href=https://alpinelinux.org/>Alpine Linux</a> containers on my <a href="https://proxmox.com/en/products/proxmox-virtual-environment/overview">Proxmox VE</a>. On those I learn about how computers work, play around and adjust them to my wishes. You can find my dotfiles <a href=https://git.crispy-caesus.eu/dots-the-third>here</a>.<br>
        In recent time, I've also been playing around with <a href=https://nixos.org/>Nix/NixOS</a> a bit, as you can see in configs for <a href=https://git.crispy-caesus.eu/nix>a Minecraft server</a> and <a href=https://git.crispy-caesus.eu/robonix>a work in progress</a> for the infra of a school club.
        </p>
        <b>Selfhosting</b>
        <p>
        Besides locally configuring my computers, I also host some network services, this website being one of them. The other public service is <a href=https://git.crispy-caesus.eu>this</a> git web frontend with all of my personal software projects. There are various further services I host privately or semi-privately:

            <a href=https://immich.app/>immich</a>, a photo server
          </li>
          <li>
            A monitoring stack of <a href=https://prometheus.io/>Prometheus</a>, <a href=https://prometheus.io/docs/alerting/latest/alertmanager/>Alertmanager</a> and <a href=https://grafana.com/>Grafana</a>
          </li>
        </ul>
        There's obviously also a bunch of more general network infrastructure to manage all this and provide it both to me and the public remotely. I might write a blog post on this some day.

        <b>Programming</b>
        <p>
        Mostly in <a href="https://www.c-language.org/">C</a> at the moment, as I like exploring how a computer actually works and computes things.
        I've also done some <a href="https://go.dev/">Go</a> and <a href="https://www.python.org/">Python</a> projects and learned a few other languages rudimentarily.
