I'm a university student from Germany, aspiring to become a *nix system engineer/administrator. I like tinkering around in the Linux space and write a little program here and there. Some of the things I enjoy are:

I run Chimera Linux on my PCs, Nura on my PinePhone and Alpine Linux containers on my Proxmox VE. On those I learn about how computers work, play around and adjust them to my wishes. You can find my dotfiles here.
In recent time, I've also been playing around with Nix/NixOS a bit, as you can see in configs for a Minecraft server and a work in progress for the infra of a school club.

Besides locally configuring my computers, I also host some network services, this website being one of them. The other public service is this git web frontend with all of my personal software projects. There are various further services I host privately or semi-privately:

• synapse, a Matrix server
• Navidrome, an OpenSubsonic server (a music server)
• FileBrowser Quantum, a web file manager with sharing functionality
• immich, a photo server
• A monitoring stack of Prometheus, Alertmanager and Grafana

Mostly in C at the moment, as I like exploring how a computer actually works and computes things. I've also done some Go and Python projects and learned a few other languages rudimentarily.
